FAQ
Who are you?
Hi, i’m Tom. I’ve been working as an illustrator and comic artist for many years and had publications in different magazines and comic books. I also drew thousands of illustrations for explainer videos until i reached a point, where i was totally exhausted and had to take a break from drawing for several years.
After finding back to my passion for drawing i decided to keep it healthy this time and mainly draw what i want.
Seems i found my preferred subject because i never get exhausted or unmotivated when drawing beautiful women.
As an illustrator i’m a big fan of clear lines, reduced color schemes and some kind of stylization in the drawings. Most of my motives follow this rule but from time to time i have to leave all clear lines behind and go wild with some crazy brushes – you will notice the difference when that special day arrives 😉
What made you start drawing women?
When i look at the curvy lines and shapes of the female body i sometimes think: „Yes, it was worth it – the entire effort with the Big Bang, scattering all those atoms around and installing some laws of nature, only to finally reach, after billions of years of evolution, this absolute degree of perfection in beauty and harmony.“
The impressions and emotions these harmonious shapes and lines evoke in me are comparable to those one feels when looking at a beautiful flower and less of a sexual nature – though that certainly also might play its role as i’m a man.
With my drawings, I try to approach the mystery of this perfect harmony. Whether I succeed, I cannot assess … but what I do notice while drawing is that creating these harmonious shapes and lines brings a deep sense of inner peace within me.
I hope you enjoy my drawings.
HOE – MOT – EOH – TOM?
The signature is a stylized version of my name „Tom“. To keep the tension high, the signature goes with each new motive into a special slot machine that vigorously spins the signature in 90° steps and then spits it out at a random 90° angle – once more simple enough.
What on earth does „Zerpentynez“ mean?
The mystery behind the term is quickly explained: it’s a slightly adventurous spelling of the word „serpentines,“ which describes winding mountain roads and can thus also be used as a synonym for „curves.“ And with that, we’re back to the „curvy lines“ mentioned above.
But wait, there’s a second meaning of the word which maybe revealed in the future – stay tuned …
Tasteful nudity pinup art?
In my pinup art i prefer a kind of tasteful nudity where the celebration of the female beauty is in the focus. If you search for explicit content this is not the right place for you.
How do you work?
I do a lot of 2 to 5 minute sketches with pencils in my sketchbook. When i like a pose, have time, motivation and an idea for a little story i scan the sketch and make the final artwork in the drawing software „Clip Studio Paint“ with my 15 years old „Cintiq 21UX“.
So where is the tasteful nudity?

Do you use ai?
As an artist i enjoy the whole process of creation. A vague idea in my mind comes to live with a pencil on paper, goes through different iterations until it is clearly formulated – often enough in a surprising and unexpected new or altered shape. It may be selfish to refuse the machine all that fun but i don’t use ai for my art.
